Sandra Gittens is author of the book African Caribbean Hairdressing and lecturer in Hairdressing, media styling and the history of African type hair.
Sandra has worked as a consultant for several training and manufacture organisations. She is an expert in the field of African type hair. Sandra has presented talks on hair in Ghana, South Africa, the Victoria & Albert Museum, Wycombe Museum and the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology.
