Andrew C. Ife-Oni

Andrew C. Ife-Oni is a photographer, filmmaker and graphic designer, whose interests in photography started over 25 years ago and he has exhibited his work in a number of exhibitions. He is self-taught, and what started as hobby has become the main focus of his work.

Andrew’s family came over from Jamaica in 1962. Although he was born in Cambridge he has visited Jamaica regularly and maintains a close connection to both his family there and Jamaican culture. He has wider interests in African cultural heritage and history, and enjoys reading about many aspects relating to the Africa and the Diaspora. His role within the project is to record personal histories to create an archive for the future.
